Mission-critical environments place both static and dynamic demands on the operator.
Static demands include sustained sitting, posture, pressure, workstation configuration, support, and the physical requirements of remaining at the primary workstation for extended periods.
Dynamic demands develop throughout the work cycle and may include restricted movement, changing physical conditions, prolonged inactivity, fatigue, and limited opportunities for recovery.
These demands overlap. A single adjustment, material, or chair feature cannot address the complete challenge because dynamic demands cannot be fully addressed by a static solution alone.
A Complex Environment Requires a More Complete Seating Strategy.
